Warranty coverage for OEM used auto parts purchased from Citi Auto Parts.
Warranty Coverage
CITI AUTO PARTS offers a standard 1, 2, 3, or 6-month return/replacement warranty on selected parts unless otherwise noted. Warranty periods may be extended up to 12 months depending on part type, availability, and purchase price.
Certain engines and transmissions for newer vehicles or remanufactured units may qualify for extended coverage up to 5 years (parts only), provided written warranty confirmation is issued by Citi Auto Parts via email.
Warranty Eligibility Requirements
- Parts must be installed within 5 days of delivery.
- Engines, transmissions, and axles must be installed or reported within 10 days of delivery.
- Installation must be performed by a ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) or mechanic.
- The part must be used only with the vehicle year, make, and model specified at the time of purchase.
- Parts returned must remain in the same assembled condition as originally delivered.
Replacement parts provided under warranty will continue under the original warranty period and will not restart the warranty term.
General Warranty Limitations
The warranty becomes void if:
- The vehicle is used for racing, competition, or off-road recreational use.
- The part fails due to misuse, abuse, or modifications.
- The part is installed outside the United States.
- The vehicle is converted for commercial or fleet use.
- The vehicle is driven even after reporting damage or failure.
- The installed heat tab is removed or melted.
- The incorrect part was ordered by the customer.
- The vehicle was involved in a collision causing the failure.
CITI AUTO PARTS cannot guarantee mileage on used parts. All used parts are sold based on their functional performance.
Shipping Damage Policy
All shipments must be inspected at the time of delivery.
Any damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery to both CITI AUTO PARTS and the freight carrier to file a freight claim.
Shipping charges are non-refundable and delivery timelines are not guaranteed as they depend on third-party carriers.
Returns and Replacements
If a part arrives incorrect or damaged, customers must notify us within 48 working hours via email and provide clear photos of the part and packaging.

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before returning the item.
Refused deliveries may result in:
Certain engines or transmissions require a core return.
Engine warranty covers internal lubricated components including:
Accessories such as alternators, sensors, wiring harnesses, belts, hoses, turbochargers,
and manifolds are not covered under warranty.
Engine diagnostic reports from an ASE certified repair facility may be required
for warranty claims.
Transmission warranty covers:
Transmission warranty requires installation by an ASE certified mechanic.
Electrical components such as ECUs, modules, wiring harnesses, and similar electronics
are generally sold AS-IS and are not eligible for warranty once installed.
Body parts including doors, hoods, fenders, and bumpers are sold as structural shells only.
Accessories such as handles, glass, regulators, trim pieces, and hinges are not guaranteed.
Headlight assemblies may show cosmetic wear or fading due to age.
This does not qualify for replacement under warranty.
Wheels are guaranteed not to be bent or cracked, but cosmetic scratches may be present.
All parts sold by CITI AUTO PARTS are used OEM components.
They may show normal wear and are not guaranteed to be in new or mint condition.

to resolve legitimate warranty issues quickly and fairly.
